PMMI adds industry veteran as director of Industry Services

An industry veteran with more than two decades of experience has been named director of Industry Services at PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies.

Carlos Quintero has extensive expertise in packaging, processing, capital equipment and intelligent supply chain technology, according to a news release.

He previously held roles as sales director at Americas at SACMI Beverage and global sales director for the Optel Group.

At PMMI, Quintero will work to grow the OpX Leadership Network, along with other Industry Services initiatives.

“Carlos brings a wealth of skills to his new role, encompassing expertise in management, innovation, and strategic alliances,” Jim Pittas, PMMI president and CEO, said in the release. “His industry knowledge and unique perspective into the challenges our members face make him a great asset to the PMMI team. We are thrilled to have him.”
