New sales manager joins JLS’ Southeast team

JLS, a Pennsylvania-based robotics packaging system producer, has added a new member to its sales team. Michael Cothran is the company’s new regional sales manager — Southeast.

Cothran has nearly a decade’s experience in sales and engineering roles, including six years at BluePrint Automation, where he most recently served as the company’s north central regional sales manager.

Also previously product development engineer at Nomaco, Cothran has degrees in mechanical engineering as well as Spanish from North Carolina State University. He will report to John Kertesz, director of sales, JLS South.

“Michael is a driven sales engineer,” Kertesz said in a news release. “His industry experience in applications engineering, especially with secondary packaging, will certainly be an asset to our team as we continue to look for new opportunities.”
