Organizations team up to promote summer celery recipes

Dandy Produce has partnered with benefit corporation The Produce Moms to highlight summer salads featuring fresh-cut celery as the star ingredient.

The organizations are promoting simple recipes, including egg and potato salad, with a nostalgic bent for summer preparation, according to a news release.

“Potato, tuna, chicken and egg salads are some of the most timeless side dishes, especially for summer grilling and outdoor parties,” Lori Taylor, founder and CEO of The Produce Moms, said in the news release. “Together with Dandy, we are delighting consumers through nostalgia marketing and celebrating memories rooted in sharing good food during the summertime with loved ones.”

Dandy is a brand of Duda Farm Fresh Foods, a leading grower, shipper, processor and marketer of fresh vegetables and citrus for nearly 100 years. The Produce Moms works to educate consumers on the benefits of fresh produce, the growing process, and how to select, store and serve fruits and vegetables.
