NIFA Extension support program RFPs due Oct. 31

Requests for proposals for USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) fiscal year 2026 Capacity Programs must be received by Oct. 31.

The programs support research and Extension activities at land-grant colleges and universities. Grants are made to states based on statutory formulas.

• Renewable Resources Extension Act – RREAF
• Joint Cooperative Extension Programs at 1862 land-grant Institutions and University of the District of Columbia Public Postsecondary Education Reorganization Act Program
