Jenkins Freshpac Systems names new general manager
New Zealand-based Jenkins Freshpac Systems, a leading supplier of produce labels and postharvest packaging and automation solutions, has named a new general manager.
Brendan Macpherson will succeed Jamie Lunam, who is leaving the company to pursue personal opportunities, according to a news release.
“Brendan joined Jenkins in February 2020, leading the automation sales division, and has achieved tremendous success in driving our equipment sales activity,” Tony Sayle, managing director of parent company Jenkins Group, said in a news release.
“Brendan has previously operated in senior leadership roles in the automotive and refrigeration systems industries.”
Macpherson assumed his new role Sept. 4 and will work alongside Lunam until Oct. 31.
“Having hired and worked alongside Brendan for the last few years, I am excited by the attributes Brendan is bringing to the role and the fresh perspective he will provide,” Lunam said.
“As I move onto the next stage of my career after seven years at Jenkins, it is heartening to be leaving the business in such capable hands.”
