Conveying equipment manufacturer PFI adds new team members

Conveying equipment manufacturer PFI has added two account managers and a field engineering supervisor.

Shane Peterson and Zach Cathey join the Pennsylvania-based company as key accounts managers, while Martin Zanmiller joins the PFI team as field engineer supervisor.

“We welcome Shane Peterson, Zach Cathey and Marty Zanmiller to PFI and look forward to their contributions to help us continue to grow,” Tom Vipond, PFI division general manager, said in a news release. “All are experts in their fields and will certainly hit the ground running in their respective roles.”

Peterson comes to PFI with more than 20 years of experience in food processing, specifically in the meat and poultry industries. Most recently key account manager at Friesen’s, Peterson also has experience in processing and packaging conveyance and material handling equipment and systems. He will focus on Midwest manufacturers.

Cathey, a U.S. Navy veteran, also comes to PFI from Friesen’s.

Zanmiller will support service and installations for both PFI and its sister brand Vanmark. He has extensive experience in the industrial service industry.

PFI, with 75 years of experience in food-conveying technology, helps food processing companies address supply chain issues, food safety and sanitation, among other custom solutions. Based in Algona, Iowa, PFI is part of the Grote Company family of brands.

Grote Co., based in Columbus, Ohio, manufactures food slicing and assembly equipment.
