Fox Packaging founder dies at age 91
Kenneth Fox, founder of global flexible packaging supplier Fox Packaging, died April 17 at age 91.
Fox, who began his career as a burlap and mesh bag salesman in Kansas City, Missouri, started his own packaging manufacturer in 1962 in south Texas.
Kenneth Fox Supply grew from six sewing machines in the back of a melon shed into a company serving customers across North and South America in the fresh produce, bakery, firewood and seafood industries.
Fox, born on Aug. 13, 1932, in St. Louis, is survived by his wife, Elaine, four children and 10 grandchildren. His son Keith Fox is president of Fox Packaging and son Aaron Fox is executive vice president of Fox Packaging and president of Fox Solutions.
