Conference focused on sustaining family farms set for February

A three-day conference is expected to draw more than 1,000 farmers, ranchers, producers and advocates to Atlanta in February.

SOWTH 2025, set for Feb. 4-6 at the Georgia World Congress Center, is focused on developing practical tools and solutions for sustaining family farms throughout the South. The event is being planned by partners in 13 states and territories including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Discounted early registration is now available online.

Producers in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, U.S. Virgin Islands and Virginia are eligible to apply for SOWTH scholarships to attend the event.

The deadline to apply for scholarships in Nov. 13. Applications are available in English and Spanish.
