Automation showcase to display latest robotic farming solutions
The 2023 FIRA USA automation showcase will connect startups and growers with the latest high-tech innovations in robotic farming solutions.
The California Agricultural Robotics and Technology event, to take place at the Salinas Sports Complex in Salinas, California, from Sept. 19-21, will include exhibitions, presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities.

Following a successful first edition in Fresno, the French nonprofit GOFAR, Western Growers Association, and VINE/University of California, Agriculture and Natural Resources are collaborating once again to produce the event.
“We found a willing audience on both sides,” Walt Duflock, vice president of innovation at Western Growers, said in a news release. “Startups enjoyed being part of a focused event where most of the attendees were looking for their type of solution, and growers were also interested in attending a show that focused on one type of solution.”
Registration opens for attendees on April 27, which is also the date for startup pitches for investors and for abstracts of research projects to be presented during research and development day.
A press conference will also be held April 27 in Salinas featuring a preview discussion with autonomous solution manufacturers including Naio Technologies, Stout, Farm NG, Bluewhite, Carbon Robotics, Agtonomy and Ecorobotix.
