Pair of training courses available to fresh produce industry
Workforce development and certification organization Equitable Food Initiative has extended two training courses to the entire fresh produce industry.
The Facilitation 101 and 102 will help attendees foster a more productive and inclusive work environment, according to a news release. One of its 13 key principles emphasizes the importance of direct communication between management and employees as the most effective way to resolve workplace issues.
“As companies work to bring the Ethical Charter off paper and into practice, these courses offer a steppingstone to creating a highly trained and engaged workforce,” Madelyn Edlin, EFI product marketing manager, said in the release. “As companies work to bring the Ethical Charter off paper and into practice, these courses offer a steppingstone to creating a highly trained and engaged workforce.”
