Grand Rapids food stores expand healthy food offerings through Project FIT makeover

Shoppers at Wealthy Market are used to finding everything from chips to clothing to beer to jewelry at the Southeast Side store.

After a recent makeover, the options have expanded even more: A cooler filled with fresh fruits and vegetables is near the front door, and signs throughout the aisles direct shoppers to the whole grains, low-fat dairy products, nuts and beans. Grand Rapids Press
