Fresh Express adds new products to salad kit line

Fresh Express has introduced two products to its lineup of more than 100 varieties of salad kits and blends.

The Asian Apple Salad Kit and Twisted Caesar Creamy Truffle Caesar Chopped Salad Kit are inspired by global flavors, according to a news release.

“These new products are an example of our ongoing commitment to bring consistently, deliciously fresh products to the market and we look forward to continuing to invest in and support category growth through product innovations,” Fabian Pereira, vice president of Marketing and Innovation at Fresh Express, said in the release. “These new products are an example of our ongoing commitment to bring consistently, deliciously fresh products to the market and we look forward to continuing to invest in and support category growth through product innovations.”

The Asian Apple Salad Kit contains fresh green leaf lettuces, carrots and radicchio paired with crispy wonton strips, chili verde cashews, diced apples and an Asian apple vinaigrette.

The Twisted Caesar Creamy Truffle Caesar Chopped Salad Kit includes romaine lettuce, garlic brioche croutons, truffle parmesan cheese shreds and a truffle Caesar dressing.

Fresh Express salad products have a suggested retail price of $4.49 and are available at retailers nationwide.
