Food processor opening 68,000-square-foot Florida facility

Middleby Food Processing is opening a 68,000-square-foot facility in Florida that will house two of its filling and depositing brands and an innovation center.

The Palmetto, Florida facility will also provide manufacturing and research and development hub for processing equipment provider Hinds-Bock and Inline Filling Systems.

Hinds-Bock has produced custom equipment solutions for the food and bakery industry since 1976, according to a news release. Inline Filling Systems has provided packaging solutions for industries including beverage, distillery, chemical and health and beauty for the past 30 years.

The innovation center will allow full equipment lines to be tested onsite, according to the release.
