Del Monte Fresh launches avocado pulp four-pack

Del Monte Fresh Hass Avocado Pulp 2-oz. 4 Pack is now being sold at national retail chains.

The ready-to-eat and preservative- and additive-free avocado product is designed for consumers on the go and sized to serve as a quick sandwich spread, go into a school lunchbox, or to be used as a single-serve dip.

“Avocado and fresh guacamole products have seen incredible growth in the last few years and there is still room for development,” said Dennis Christou vice president of marketing, North America.  “We really see these value added avocado products as a way to help increase sales and consumption for the entire avocado category.”

Del Monte® Fresh Hass Avocado Pulp was recently given the Superior Taste Award with the maximum three stars by the International Taste and Quality Institute (iTQi). It is also available in a 2-lb. pouch,  8-oz. plastic tub and other packaging/sizing upon request.

The Del Monte 2-oz. 4 pack and other Del Monte fresh Hass avocado products will be on display at the PMA Fresh Summit in Anaheim, Calif., in October.
