Center for Produce Safety announces 2023 RFPs on food safety research

Included is a list of research priorities developed with industry guidance. We have included research priorities that address questions throughout the supply chain – production through retail.

New this year is a pilot program to support Master’s students carry-out short-term applied research.

Pre-proposals must be received via email at the Center for Produce Safety proposal email address: [email protected] by 12:00 noon (Pacific) on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

We strongly encourage research scientists to take advantage of the Office Hours program, October 3-14, which offers to help researchers refine their research proposals to ensure they best meet CPS’s priorities — and the industry’s needs.
