Caulipower expanding cauliflower pasta line, adding white and spinach pizza
Cauliflower-based product maker Caulipower has several new products for 2022.
The company, which already has frozen products like cauliflower crust pizzas, cauliflower pasta and baked cauliflower chicken tenders, is adding to its line with two new pasta varieties — penne and elbows — as well as a white pizza with spinach version of its pizza line.
Caulipower anticipates that non-pizza growth will continue to expand in tandem with strong pizza sales as they further broaden its portfolio, grow distribution for new categories. The company added five new products in 2021, bringing it into seven frozen food categories.
Period-over-period sales of Cauliflower’s non-pizza products were 25% for chicken tenders, 30% for breakfast cups and 34% for pasta.
