WeighPack debuts new pre-made pouch filler

Packaging machinery manufacturer WeighPack Systems has debuted a new pre-made pouch filler capable of opening, filling and sealing up to 70 pouches per minute.

The Swifty Bagger S-3600 Duplex Servo is equipped with twin pouch infeed conveyors and dual fill stations and can handle liquids, solids and powders, according to a news release.

WThe S-3600 features a straight-line design for full visibility of bag opening, filling and sealing processes. The layout also reduces the need for additional personnel and simplifies servicing and cleaning, according to the company.

The machine’s automatic zipper opener streamlines preparation, while its bag shaker levels products and its integrated exit conveyor improves handling efficiency. It is compatible with various printers for on-pouch coding and branding.

The S-3600 handles pouch styles including pillow, gusseted, quad and carry handle, as well as three- and four-side sealed pouch.
