The Videojet 2380 delivers high-resolution printing of text, logos and bar codes on corrugated cardboard cases, cartons, shipping containers and other porous materials, according to a news release. The large character marking system is modular and self-cleaning, with two printheads allowing for coding of up to 5.5 inches in print height or on two sides of a case, according to the release.

The printheads required no additional hardware and are controlled by one touchscreen user interface separate from the print engine. The Videojet 2380 offers USB connectivity, has embedded Wi-Fi for remote access and analytical capabilities, and features seven ink colors.
A gyroscopic sensor monitors the stainless steel printer’s mounting angle, helping to prevent ink leaks and to detect and record external impact signals.
