Steamable potato wedges debuted by Bob Evans Farms
Bob Evans Farms recently announced the addition of a steamable line of flavored potato wedge side dishes. The new product line launched with three varieties:
- Sea Salt Red Potato Wedges
- Steak House Red Potato Wedges
- Garlic Red Potato Wedges
The products became available at select retailers nationwide where Bob Evans Farms foods are sold as of Feb. 1.
New “Steamables” Product Line
The Steamables trio of varieties are available in a 22-ounce bag and contain 100 calories or less per serving. Steamables come in a bag with a resealable zipper so consumers can add their choice of cooking oil prior to cooking. Microwave cooking time is five minutes.
“The new Steamables product line provides healthy and delicious side dishes that are a breeze to make,” said Chris Lambrix, SVP Retail Business Development at Bob Evans Farms. “We listened to our consumers who were asking for more options to make meals easier. Steamables are a great way to add fresh, never frozen, pre-cooked redskin potatoes to any meal without sacrificing time or taste.”
