Rick Urschel promoted to president and CEO of Urschel Laboratories

Urschel Laboratories announced the appointment of Rick Urschel by the board of directors from vice president of operations to president and CEO effective Sept. 13. Bob Urschel, president/CEO for the past 30 years, will remain actively involved with the company as chairman of the board. 

“As I pass the leadership of the company on to Rick, I am fully confident in his abilities as the new president and CEO of Urschel Laboratories,” Bob Urschel said.

Rick Urschel, fourth generation of the Urschel family, started working at Urschel in 1991. With a management degree from Purdue University, full working knowledge of every department within the company, and a passion for technology, he embraces the legacy of carrying on in the footsteps of the Urschel family of innovators, according to the company.
