Ready Pac Foods introduces organic salad kits

Ready Pac Foods has launched new Organic Chopped Salad Kits, the first of its kind on the market, according to the company.

Available in Caesar, Zesty Greek, Kickin’ Southwest and Sweet Kale, the chef favorite salad line-up delivers a prepared mix of organic greens, vegetables, cheeses, nuts, seeds and dressings. Each Salad Kit can be used as side dish or a complete meal with the addition of protein.

Varieties of Ready Pac Foods Organic Chopped Salad Kits include:

• Caesar: Organic Chopped Romaine and Radicchio, Organic Pita Squares, Organic Parmesan Hard Grating Cheese and Organic Caesar Vinaigrette
• Zesty Greek: Organic Escarole, Endive, Romaine, Radicchio and Carrots, Organic Feta Cheese Crumbles, Organic Herb-seasoned Flatbread Strips and Organic Greek-inspired Vinaigrette
• Kickin’ Southwest: Organic Romaine, Green Cabbage, Red Cabbage and Carrots, Organic Tortilla Strips, Monterey Jack Cheese and Organic Southwest Ranch Dressing
• Sweet Kale: Organic Kale, Red Cabbage, Carrots and Radicchio, Organic Cranberries, Organic Sunflower Kernels and Organic Lite Lemon Poppy Seed Dressing

With a suggested retail price of $4.99, Ready Pac Foods’ Organic Chopped Salad Kits are available at all Southern California Safeway stores and will be hitting the shelves at Target stores nationwide later this summer.
