Produce industry veteran joins California grower in newly created position

Produce industry veteran Jeff Oberman has joined California grower Dobler & Sons in the newly created leadership position of chief operating officer.

Oberman has held executive roles at the United Fresh Produce Association, fresh produce distributor PRO*ACT and the California Avocado Commission.

“I’m excited to contribute to Dobler & Sons’ continued success of quality produce and maintain their well-deserved reputation for excellence and forward-thinking innovation,” Oberman said in a news release.

At Dobler & Sons, Oberman will help drive strategic initiatives while supporting Dobler & Sons’ core farming operations and its affiliated companies.

“We have had the pleasure of knowing Jeff throughout his agriculture career and look forward to collaborating with him as a valued member of our team,” Craig Dobler, Dobler & Sons partner, said in the release.
