Polar King Mobile launches new line of refrigerated trailers

A new series of walk-in refrigerated and freezer trailers from Polar King Mobile features ground-level loading system technology.

The PKM68A, PKM612A and PKM616A Avalanche Series models include a Sure-Trac loading system, with the PKM612A and PKM616A the first to include a 36-inch side door in addition to a 54-inch rear door.

“As a company that prides itself on cold storage innovation, we’re excited to offer another first for customers around the country who demand the highest quality storage to power their businesses,” Christian Aitken, Polar King Mobile executive vice president, said in a news release. “Not only can business have access to the best mobile cold storage on the market but now these trailers allow for easier loading and unloading.”

The PKM68A is a 6-by 8-trailer with a temperature range of 0° to 50° F and a drop deck design. The trailer also has custom cart floor, bumper guard, strip curtains, E-Track reinforcement and a 12-volt LED loading light.

The PKM612A Avalanche Series is a 12-foot trailer equipped with both rear and side doors with the same features as the PKM68A, while the 16-foot PKM616A walk-in trailer is the company’s largest.

Polar King Mobile trailers, used by industries including foodservice and catering, feature a fiberglass construction and operate on 110-volt/15-amp power.
