Packaging Recycling Summit to explore materials, technology and sustainability
The Packaging Recycling Summit, set for Sept. 16-18 in Anaheim, California, will include more than 24 educational sessions exploring packaging materials and technology.
Representatives from The Coca-Cola Co., Colgate-Palmolive, Danone, Google and McCormick & Co. will discuss sustainability programs and visions, while PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, will reveal research findings showing how sustainable packaging claims influence consumer behavior and how the materials landscape is evolving for U.S. packagers.
Experts will offer practical advice for integrating recyclable materials with new and legacy machinery, while other sessions will explore the effect of new Extended Producer Responsibility regulations and delve into sustainable supply chain strategies.
