Packaging provider Glenroy acquires high-tech printing press

Flexible packaging provider Glenroy has acquired a state-of-the-art printing press to help serve its customers in industries including food and beverage, personal care, nutritional and pharmaceutical.

The Windmoller & Holscher 10-color MIRAFLEX II printing press will allow for superior print quality, enhanced productivity, quick job changeovers and waste minimization, according to a news release. Its automation features include the defect detection VISION system.

Wisconsin-headquartered Glenroy, founded in 1965, is the exclusive converter of the premade STANDCAP. The award winning, recyclable inverted tube, used to package products such as fresh avocado, reduces plastic use, fossil fuel consumption, water usage and landfill space.
