New requirements for USDA Foods in Schools program to be addressed in webinar

The Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) and Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) will host a webinar on new requirements for food producers who supply USDA Foods in Schools.

The webinar, which will take place live at 2 p.m. EDT Wednesday, March 31, will provide an overview of an initiative that will utilize the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) to receive nutrition, allergen and ingredient information from food suppliers to the school food program, as well as the timeline for its implementation.
