Starting with production in mind, the guide will provide educational tools to help navigate common challenges such as finding land, financing and facilities, as well as tips on how to connect with agricultural partners.
MSU Extension and USDA will hold a special GLEXPO session to launch the guide on Tuesday, Dec. 9, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The session will include an overview of the guide content, attendees will be encouraged to explore the guide and ask questions about current and future content.
The resource guide will be routinely reviewed to ensure timely, useful content.
During and after the launch, the guide will be available for viewing and free download at MSU Extension’s Beginning Farmer website.
