New Age/Landmark expands food safety offerings

New Age/Landmark in South Haven, Michigan, which provides on-site environmental, agricultural and food safety testing services, recently received Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation for Biological, Chemical, and Environmental Testing according to ISO/IEC 17025:2005, and meets the requirements of the AOAC International Guidelines for Laboratories Performing Microbiological and Chemical Analysis of Food and Pharmaceutical-2010 and APLAC TC 007 Guidelines for Food Testing Laboratories. This PJLA accreditation ensures that the highest-quality methodologies and processes are in place, according to a press release.

The company is expanding its offerings into food safety and food quality testing. With this expansion of services, New Age/Landmark has added microbiology personnel (Megan LaValley as deputy technical manager-microbiology, and Michael Mottweiler as close support laboratory scientist) to accommodate the growth, according to the release.
