Natural Delights names vice president of sales and marketing
Natural Delights has promoted David Baxter, a six-year company veteran, to vice president of sales and marketing.
Natural Delights Medjool dates are grown in Bard Valley at the intersection of Arizona, California and Mexico. Medjool dates, which come from the date palm tree, are native to Morocco and grown in warm regions of the U.S., the Middle East, South Asia and Africa.
The fruit is often sold dried but not dehydrated.
Baxter has held roles including product manager and director of marketing and business development at Natural Delights.
“One of my proudest achievements has been assembling a sales and marketing team that collaborates seamlessly to achieve our shared goals,” Baxter said in the release. “We’ve got a lot of exciting opportunities ahead of us as a brand, and I’m really looking forward to what our team will be able to do to serve our company’s mission heading into our new crop next year.”
In Baxter’s new role, he will oversee marketing and sales strategy, according to a news release.
“David brings collaborative leadership to our sales and marketing team and has created a dynamic team internally that has helped drive demand for the brand and category,” Natural Delights CEO Hector Altamira said. “We’re very lucky to have him on the team and are glad to see him stepping into this elevated role.”
