Michigan grower taps industry veteran as national sales manager

Michigan produce grower, packer and shipper Todd Greiner Farms Packing (TGF) has named a sales veteran as national sales manager.

Blake Hansen brings nearly two decades of retail and customer relationship experience, including 19 years with Frito-Lay as a route sales representative. The Oceana County native’s produce background began as a youth working in Michigan’s Tubbs Orchards, according to a news release.

“I was excited to accept the position at TGF because farming and retail sales have always been a big part of my life,” Hansen said in the release. “From harvesting produce on my grandparents’ farm in Oceana County to packing groceries at my family’s store in Hart, produce has always been personal to me. This role at TGF is an opportunity to connect thousands of people with healthy, delicious fruits and vegetables every season.”

Based in Hart, Michigan, TGF was established in 1994 by CEO and president Todd Greiner and wife Sarah. The farm grows asparagus, sweet and tart cherries, sweet corn, peaches, winter squash, apples and pumpkins and also offers Christmas evergreens including trees, wreaths and garlands.

“Blake’s passion for produce, his deep community ties and his proven track record in customer-driven sales make him a natural fit for our team,” Greiner said. “We’re thrilled to welcome him aboard.”
