Matrix to showcase flexible packaging advances at WestPack 2024
Vertical form seal machine manufacturer Matrix Packaging Machinery will display its latest flexible packaging technologies at WestPack 2024, set for Feb. 6-8 in Anaheim, California
Matrix and its master distributor brands INVpack and Pacraft (formerly Toyo Jidoki) will showcase solutions including a continuous box-motion bagger and a high-speed vertical form fill seal bagger at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, California.
MVC-300
The MVC-300 is a continuous box-motion bagger utilizing the latest high-performance servo system for precision motion control. The technology allows users to run a variety of films at faster speeds with better accuracy, according to a news release.

Mercury
The Mercury high-speed vertical form fill seal bagger can cycle up to 140 flexible packaging bags per minute. Known for easy operation and quick changeover and setup, the machine can accommodate bag widths between 2 inches and 11 inches and bag lengths between 3 inches and 15 inches.The Mercury features a small footprint, stainless-steel frame, automatic film tracking and a registered film sensor.
Elete Premier
The Elete Premier 13/15 is a high-performance, configurable solution for medium-sized bags ideal for customers who require more hygienic packaging machines. Producing bags with a 13-inch-wide web width and up to 15 inches long, the Elete Premier features a stainless steel, sanitary design with all major components, including fasteners, bearings, shafts, and motors, suitable for washdown environments, according to Matrix.The machine can produce different bag shapes, such as pillow, gusset, and flat bottom, with a variety of films, including recyclable, at filling rates up to 100 bags per minute.
