Massachusetts rep to keynote breakfast at United Fresh Washington Conference

Rep. Jim McGovern (D-MA) will keynote the Opening General Session Breakfast during the United Fresh Washington Conference on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

First elected to Congress in 1996, Rep. McGovern now serves as Chairman of the powerful House Rules Committee.

A steadfast leader in nutrition and hunger initiatives in Congress, Rep. McGovern founded the Food as Medicine Working Group in 2018 within the Congressional Hunger Caucus, and is a senior member of the House Committee on Agriculture’s Subcommittee on Nutrition and Oversight. He also is a member of the Specialty Crops Caucus.
