Kronen, Urschel partnership expanding to Asia, Italy in 2026

Kronen commercial processing solutions will be offered through industrial cutting equipment company Urschel throughout Asia and Italy in 2026.

Effective Jan. 1, Kronen products will be available in Asia via Urschel Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. and in Italy via Urschel International Ltd. Italy, according to a news release.

The companies formed a sales partnership in May to strengthen their market positions.

“Urschel has always partnered with food processors to explore more options and support our customers,” Alan Major, Urschel chief sales officer, said in the release. “Through providing Kronen systems, the Urschel network of sales and support extends even more processing solutions that work with Urschel precision cutting machinery. Invention and innovation are part of who we are as a company.”

Since May, customers in the U.S. and Mexico have been able to purchase Kronen equipment directly from Urschel. Urschel offices in Pakistan and China also now offer Kronen equipment.

Founded in 1910, Indiana-headquartered Urschel designs and manufactures precision cutting equipment including potato chip slicers for fruit and vegetable and other food processors worldwide.

Germany-based Kronen GmbH specializes in equipment for washing, peeling, cutting, mixing and packaging.
