Kronen to showcase equipment innovations during biannual event
Kronen will hold its biannual Customer Day Sept. 25-26 at its Kehl, Germany. Find out what produce processing solutions will be on display.
The event will include live equipment demonstrations and presentations by food technology experts.
Participants from 45 countries and industries including fresh-cut and food processing are expected to attend, according to the company.

Machinery showcase
Kronen will present established and new technologies in a 34,000-square-foot exhibition area in conjunction with partners including iWEIGH, ProMinent, sterilAir, GKS Packaging and Citrosol.Products to be displayed include:
- HEWA 3800: a helical washing machine with a hygienic design for fruit, vegetables, salad leaves and herbs
- K650: a drying system for up to 2,600 kilograms per hour of cut fruit, vegetables and salad leaves in continuous operation
- Automatic weighing conveyor system: a system suitable for flexible use for precise, continuous mixing of salad, vegetable and cabbage products
- KUJ HC-220: a cube, strip and slice cutting machine with a capacity of up to 8,000 kg/h for large quantities and products with a diameter of up to 250 millimeters
- CAP 350: a new cabbage cutting machine (upgraded version of the CAP 68) with an improved hygienic design for larger cabbage heads
- Robot Avocado Line: a patented solution for particularly gentle processing of delicate avocados
- GS 10-2 and GS 20: belt cutting machines for precise cutting of a variety of foods with capacities of up to 1,500 kg/h (GS 10-2) or up to 4,000 kg/h (GS 20)
- The Deconwa Prep decontamination and washing system, the KS-100 PLUS vegetable and lettuce spin-dryer, the Tona V cutting machines, the FLEX L packaging machine and the MPC 100 manual pineapple chunk cutter
Expert knowledge
The Kronen Forum offers short presentations by international experts focusing on current industry topics held in English and will be simultaneously interpreted into German. Feature topics will include:- Real-time quality control: a project on in-line monitoring of wash water quality

- More control in production: iWEIGH reveals the potential of modern weighing technology
