KHK USA debuts new line of gear couplings
KHK USA has debuted a new line of gear couplings designed to permit the connection of two shafts with minor misalignments.
The GC series of gears and corresponding sleeves will allow for torque of one shaft to be connected to another shaft and compensate for misalignment, according to a news release.

KHK gear couplings are produced in three sizes with 17 bore sizes.
Coupling components are made from 1045 carbon steel and feature induction hardened teeth for increased durability, according to the release.
The gears are included in the KHK J series program where stock bores can be open along with the addition of keyways and sets screws.
KHK USA, based in Mineola, New York, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kohara Gear Industry Co. of Japan.
