JLS names new director of primary packaging

Pennsylvania-based robotic system producer JLS has added a new director of primary packaging.

Waheed Chaudhry has more than three decades of experience in engineering and automation with companies including Ross Industries, Kaeser Compressors and Simplimatic Automation.

Before joining JLS, he was an automation project sales engineer with Multivac.

At JLS, Chaudhry will develop product strategies and provide technical solutions for the company’s primary packaging systems. He will report to Ken Harding, vice president of applications and product management.

“Waheed has an impressive background in engineering and a track record of solutions-oriented results,” Harding said in a news release. “His industry and application experience with sanitary equipment will prove to be invaluable as we continue to advance our hygienic primary packaging solutions at JLS.”
