JBT to debut new processing, portioning technology at Anuga FoodTec 2024
Food and beverage technology company JBT is introducing new processing and portioning technologies at Anuga FoodTec 2024
JBT will debut its DSI 812 Compact Waterjet Portioning system and Innospexion Bone Detection X-ray system at the event as part of its line of solutions for protein processors.
“Anuga FoodTec gives us the opportunity to meet with customers from across the protein processing spectrum, from poultry, meat and fish through to plant-based, alternative proteins,” Sergio Rabadan, JBT director of sales for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region, said in a news release. “Customers will be able to view in person how a complete processing line is designed, installed and built.”
JBT’s Innospexion technology can detect poultry bones down to 2 x 2 millimeters while reducing false positive reject rates, according to the release. The Waterjet portioner, a compact solution with an integrated water pump for small-to-medium sized processors, allows customers to achieve up to 25% more yield, according to the release.

Also on display will be cooking technology from new JBT addition alco, an industrial food processing machinery manufacturer. The HotCook AHC is an automated industrial kitchen which combines several production steps.“alco’s precooking systems are also hugely complementary to what was previously available from JBT and effectively mean that we now have solutions available for processors with low, medium and very high volumes,” Rabadan said.
