Fruit World debuts new packaging as citrus season begins

California-based produce company Fruit World has introduced new packaging to coincide with the start of state’s citrus season.

The organic and conventional fruit company offers a combination of pack styles and varieties across all citrus lines, including mandarins, oranges, grapefruit, specialty citrus and lemons. The new packaging features bold colors and a QR code to scan for more information about the company’s organic farming practices and sustainability commitment, according to a news release.

“Our new packaging reflects our dedication to bringing a sense of fun and energy to every Fruit World experience,” Bianca Kaprielian, Fruit World founder and CEO, said in the release.

“We want our customers to feel the excitement of discovering something exceptional with every bag they open.”

Fruit World, based in Reedley, California, recently achieved Equitable Food Initiative certification. EFI is a nonprofit training organization focused on increased transparency in the food supply chain.
