Fresh Express refreshes salad kits 

Fresh Express has relaunched its Chopped Kit offerings in new packaging as well as an increased quantity of reformulated dressings and toppings. The brand said it made these changes after talking to customers and finding out what changes were most important to them in terms of taste and experience. Among the top updates requested were smaller cuts of greens, more dressing and increased flavor. The new products are available now.

The new varieties include:

• Asian: The new Asian sesame vinaigrette dressing with sesame oil, ginger and soy sauce, along with wonton strips and sliced almonds.
• Sweet Kale: A combination of roasted pumpkin seeds, sweetened dried cranberries, and a poppy seed dressing made with Greek yogurt.
• Sunflower Crisp: Romaine lettuce cuts and cabbage with Italian cheeses and new onion citrus vinaigrette dressing with hints of lemon and orange.
• BBQ Ranch: Nitrite-free bacon, dried sweet corn and a new, smoky BBQ ranch dressing mixed with cabbage and kale.
• Bacon & Bleu: Bacon and blue cheese with nitrite-free bacon pieces and blue cheese in buttermilk dressing.
• Southwest: Cabbage paired with cuts of romaine lettuce with a zesty jalapeno ranch Greek yogurt.
• Chipotle Cheddar: Trans-fat free tortilla chips, spicy chipotle ranch dressing with chipotle peppers and spices and romaine lettuce and cabbage.
