Food Safety Summit March 16-18

The 7th Annual Food Safety Summit will be held March 16-18 at the Washington, D.C. Convention Center. The three-day event provides food manufacturers, processors and restaurant and foodservice professionals with the latest updates on new technologies as well as updates on regulatory and scientific issues in food safety, food security and bioterrorism and other topics.

Six conference tracts will be offered, including food plant operations, quality assurance, meat and poultry, regulation and compliance, restaurant and foodservice, and lab and technology. Over two dozen new sessions will be available this year, including FDA’s new GMPs; new tools for testing; HACCP in your hand; CSI: your food plant, biotech and food safety; and predictive microbiology, biosensors, nanotech and the future of food safety.

The Food Safety Summit is sponsored by the Food Products Association (FPA), formally the National Food Processors Association, the National Restaurant Association, and Food Safety Magazine.
