Flexible packaging company names sales account manager

Flexible packaging company Parkside has named an experienced industry salespersons as its new sales account manager.

David Henry worked in flexible packaging for more than 15 years before joining Parkside, which specializes in compostable, recyclable, paper-based and plastic flexible packaging for the food, personal and household care, and tobacco sectors. Established for more than 70 years, the company has manufacturing sites in the U.K. and Asia and is headquartered in West Yorkshire.

“Having dealt with Parkside earlier in my career, this was an attractive opportunity, knowing their product range and my knowledge of the marketplace,” Henry said in a news release. “I’ve been made to feel very welcome by everyone at the business, and I see myself growing a lot over many successful years here.”

Henry, a professional footballer with Burnley FC in his teens, has already made an impact at the company.

“David has hit the ground running and has already helped nurture some promising opportunities for us,” Paul McKeown, Parkside sales director, said in the release. “As Parkside continues to grow across the world, David’s experience and passion for the industry will be key as we continue to deliver exciting new innovations to our customers.”
