Flexible packaging company names new global sales director

Flexible packaging solutions company Parkside has named Joe Strathearn as its new global sales director. He will focus on expanding the company’s reach in its specialty and tobacco divisions.

Strathearn’s career in packaging sales began in paper before transitioning to flexibles. His senior leadership roles include his most recent, UK sales director at Coveris Group.

“I’ve admired Parkside for many years for its strong reputation in innovation, and most importantly, its culture,” Strathearn said in a news release. “Having recently had the chance to get to know the business and its people more closely, it’s clear that behind the company’s success is not only a highly skilled team, but also a genuine sense of pride in the contribution each individual makes.
