EXPO PACK Guadalajara draws more than 22,000 participants
Attendance at EXPO PACK Guadalajara 2025 topped 22,000, including 5,600 exhibitors and 16,600 attendees from Mexico and throughout Latin America.
The show floor featured innovations in smart packaging and automation, as well as a focus on sustainable materials. The EXPO PACK Verde program reinforced the industry’s growing commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable packaging practices and products including biodegradable, recyclable, and low-impact packaging innovations, according to a news release.
The event is organized by PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies.

“EXPO PACK Guadalajara continues its strong growth trajectory with the 2025 show setting records for attendance, exhibitors, and exhibit space,” Celia Navarrete, EXPO PACK director, said in the release. “We are proud to welcome attendees from Mexico and throughout Latin America to an event that identifies the latest trends and provides opportunities to see equipment, forge valuable partnerships, and achieve a more sustainable future.”
Live equipment demonstrations showcased machinery in action. The new Containers & Materials Pavilion presenting the latest packaging materials innovations, while the Digital Transformation Pavilion showed how capturing and analyzing data can help maximize efficiency, boost productivity and overcome workforce shortages.
“EXPO PACK Guadalajara 2025 not only broke records — it reinforced the region’s leadership in packaging and processing innovation,” PMMI president and CEO Jim Pittas said. “This year’s success proves that Latin America is not just keeping pace with global trends — it’s helping shape them. The energy, engagement and high-caliber attendees made it clear that this is the place where real progress happens.”
Education and networking
The 2025 edition of EXPO PACK Guadalajara offered opportunities for networking and education. Three keynote sessions presented research, design and corporate innovation perspectives.
Attendees also had access to 14 free, 30-minute sessions on the Innovation Stage, where exhibiting companies shared success stories and technology innovations. AMEE (Mexican Packaging Association) presentations explored current packaging trends in Mexico.
Other networking events included the Young Professionals Networking Breakfast, hosted by PMMI’s Young Professionals Network America Latina, where 90 emerging leaders received leadership advice from an executive panel.
Vision 2030 brought together nearly 150 packaging and processing operations professionals from consumer packaged goods companies, OEMs and sales agents who ideas for packaging and processing operations in Mexico.
EXPO PACK Guadalajara 2025 featured seven international pavilions representing Argentina, China, France, Italy, Spain, Taiwan and Turkey in addition to the PMMI Pavilion, which featured 165 PMMI member companies. Attendees from 41 countries attended the event, according to the release.
