Dilution Solutions announces new peracetic acid control panel for wash water

Dilution Solutions has announced a new peracetic acid (PAA) control panel designed to minimize the spread of pathogens, such as E. coli and listeria, as produce is washed in recirculating water.

Before fruits and vegetables are packaged, they have to be cleaned efficiently. Food safety and water conservation are the top priorities. The PAA control panel provides an automated, simplified system that is affordable, easy to install and simple to use.

The panel samples, measures, and replenishes peracetic acid (PAA) in these recirculating water applications. The Etatron eOne Plus Pump includes input signals from an electrode, a built-in controller function, doses proportionally relative to the setpoint, and includes a degassing head.

“Because water can become a breeding ground for bacteria and other pathogens, the water has to be treated with a sanitizer,” said Lori Donnell, Dilutions Solutions technical sales representative, through a press release. “The advantage of this system is that it is simple and requires no extra controller. It’s just the pump, filter, and probe, and includes easy-to-follow step-by-step installation instructions.”
