Cimcorp introduces new automated solution for distribution centers

Robotic order fulfillment company Cimcorp is unveiling its latest retail solution for retrofitting distribution centers with automation.

Headquartered in Finland with a North American office in Grimsby, Ontario, Cimcorp provides a range of automated storage and order picking systems designed to optimize fresh and perishable food distribution.

At ProMat 2023, to be held March 20-23 in Chicago, Cimcorp and co-exhibitor Murata Machinery Ltd. will introduce a fast, flexible automation solution. The modular, gantry-based design enables rapid installation in any existing facility. Grocery retailers can install automation modules based on their present needs, then scale as business grows, according to the company.

In addition, high-density, floor-based storage makes the solution ideal for meeting food safety and sanitation requirements. Overhead gantry robots can access any product at any time and can clear the floor in minutes for easy cleaning.
