Bagging equipment company opening West Coast distribution center
PAC Machinery Bags & Materials is opening a new West Coast distribution center to speed delivery times and reduce shipping costs for its automatic bagging equipment.
The new facility will stock PAC Machinery’s most popular stock bags, compatible with any brand of automatic bagger, according to a news release.
“Shipping costs and delivery times have long been a challenge for our West Coast customers,” Greg Quinn, general manager of the PAC Machinery Bags and Materials business, said in a news release. “By adding this new distribution center, our team will ensure that high-quality stock bags get out to our customers in a more economical and efficient way.”
PAC Machinery’s bags currently ship from the company’s Milwaukee, Wisconsin manufacturing and distribution facility, recently certified ISO 9001:2015 certification for its Quality Management System.
PAC Machinery’s portfolio includes rollbag brand coex poly mailers on a roll; duplex bags; suffocation warning bags; poly tubing; and Fiberflex Curbside Recyclable Paper. Its polyethylene bags are made with up to 25% recycled material but can be made with up to 100% recycled content, and its fiberflex paper can be recycled curbside.
PAC also offers custom, brandable bags and recently launched a shrink film that is store-recyclable and made with up to 30% recycled content.
