Polygon facility to provide food processing plants with moisture control technology

Polygon, a global property damage control and temporary climate solution provider, has opened a new location in Nashville, Tennessee, designed to serve clients in the food processing and construction industries.

Founded in 1955 as part of Munters Corp., Massachusetts-headquartered Polygon is a pioneer in drying technology and engineered temporary climate solutions. Its national client base includes the country’s largest general contractors, food processing plants, technology and software companies and pharmaceutical manufacturers.

The company has operations on three continents and in Europe and employees more than 6,600 workers in 16 countries. Its Nashville location will offer services including cooling and dehumidification and condensation and moisture management for processing facilities, as well as remote monitoring for indoor air quality and other sensing services.

“The speed of construction in and around Nashville means our services are in high demand,” Joe Bontrager, district manager and certified LEEP AP at Polygon US, said in a news release. “We are excited to build a reliable and sustaining presence in the greater Nashville area. I look forward to supporting local projects with innovative drying technology and indoor monitoring and also food plants with moisture and toxic gas control.”
