New automatic tray former for triangular corner post trays

U.S.-based Eagle Packaging Machinery has developed a new solution, the VassoyoAir Triangular Corner Post automatic tray former, geared towards addressing secondary packaging needs for food and non-food product in wholesale club retail environments.

The VassoyoAir Triangular Corner Post machine has the ability to mechanically form and glue triangular corner post trays in various configurations. This creates a sturdy and stackable display-ready tray, according to Eagle Packaging. Triangular corner post trays provide the added benefits of strength, stability, and safety that are not typical of traditional single-wall corrugate material, making these tray styles ideal for the produce industry, among several others, the company said.

Within its compact frame, the VassoyoAir Triangular Corner Post automatic tray former is able to reportedly form up to 1,500 trays per hour and engineered to accommodate a wide range of sizes from small to large and shallow to deep. The automatic tray former comes standard with a 7” wide color touch screen display preloaded with graphic instructional tutorials, a Venturi style vacuum system with self-cleaning cups, a Nordson ProBlue hot-melt glue system, and Category 4 safety circuits.

Consistent with the Vassoyo brand and Eagle Packaging Machinery solutions, the VassoyoAir Triangular Corner Post automatic tray former is operator-focused and capable of being run 24/7, according to Eagle Packaging.
