Finance veteran named CFO of Florida Food Products

An industry veteran with more than two decades of international finance experience is the new chief financial officer of Florida Food Products.

Kevin Neat is the former CFO of Johnson & Johnson’s North American Consumer Health business. He has led finance teams industries including consumer packaged goods, health care, aerospace and chemical manufacturing.

At Johnson & Johnson, Neat oversaw the business responsible for brands including Band-Aid, Tylenol and Neutrogena.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kevin — well-recognized for his track record in developing and leading best-in-class finance organizations — to FFP as we continue to strengthen our leadership team,” FFP CEO Jim Holdrieth said in a news release. “Over the past eighteen months, we have successfully and strategically scaled our business, completing four strategic acquisitions, and are confident that Kevin’s decades of experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow FFP.”

FFP, one of the world’s largest independent providers of natural ingredients, offers processed and cured meats, beverages including fermented vegetable juice concentrates and fruit and vegetable juice powders, and plant-based alternatives.

Neat also served in senior financial leadership roles at McNeil Nutritionals, the producer of SPLENDA sweeteners, VIACTIV dietary supplements, and LACTAID-branded products; Janssen Pharmaceuticals; Cordis Corp.; B/E Aerospace and International Paper. Neat earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration finance and a master’s degree. from Stetson University.

Based in Eustis, Florida, FFP’s manufacturing capabilities include extraction, fermentation, drying and blending technologies. The company has production facilities in several states, including vegetable juice concentration production facilities in Florida and tea, coffee and herbal production facilities in Georgia.
