For the past three years, Romeo has focused on AI-powered vision solutions — helping bridge cutting-edge artificial intelligence with real-world applications.

Q. How does Oxipital AI stand out from its competitors? A: AI has evolved incredibly fast over the last few years, and just about every company is trying to make it more accessible. Machine vision is no different — everyone’s looking for ways to simplify how it’s used on the factory floor. That’s where we’ve taken a big step forward. In September 2025, we launched V-CORTX, our all-in-one AI vision platform built specifically for manufacturers. It’s designed to make it easier than ever to deploy and scale AI vision, whether it’s for product inspection, quality control, or robot-guided automation.

Q. What makes V-CORTX different from other AI vision platforms? A: There are significant technological advances that really set V-CORTX apart.

First, you don’t need to know how to code. The platform has a really intuitive, visual interface that lets users build, edit, and deploy AI vision applications without any programming or engineering experience.

Second, there’s no need to capture or upload tons of images to get started. Our AI Vision Model Manager can deploy high-performance vision models without requiring large image datasets.

And third, we’ve eliminated the need for manual image labeling. The platform handles annotation automatically, which saves a lot of time and avoids the errors that usually come with manual tagging.

In short, we’ve made AI vision accessible, efficient, and easy for anyone to use—no data science degree required.

Q. How long does it take to deploy a new solution? A: V-CORTX enables customers to deploy inspection solutions in days. Other AI vision solutions require installing the system before starting the training process, which can take months. With V-CORTX, all training is completed before installation, drastically reducing deployment time to deliver immediate value to our customers.

Q. What does Oxipital AI’s Return on Investment (ROI) look like? A: Our customers are seeing real, measurable savings in a number of ways — often with ROI in as little as three months. One of the biggest impacts comes from reducing the number of manual inspectors needed on the line. But ROI doesn’t stop with saving only on manual labor.

A prominent frozen pizza manufacturer uses our AI technology to detect tears before toppings are added. If a pizza dough has even a small tear, it’ll burn in the oven and get scrapped. By using our AI system to detect tears before toppings are added, they’ve avoided that waste and saved more than $500,000 over five years.

Another example is with a major corn producer who uses our system to automatically spot ears of corn with visible defects or that just don’t look appealing. It might sound small, but it matters. If a single bad ear makes it into a four-pack, shoppers will often pass on the whole package. By catching those early, they’re cutting waste and keeping their brand image strong.

Q. Does Oxipital AI work with integrator partners? A: Yes. We also partner with machine builders and robotic manufacturers. Oxipital AI offers a Preferred Partner Program to qualifying companies. These partnerships enable us to explore cross-collaboration between sales and marketing, resulting in significant opportunities and growth.

Q. How does Oxipital AI support field solutions? A: Oxipital AI provides comprehensive onboarding, training, and ongoing customer success support to ensure a smooth deployment and long-term value realization. Our dedicated team of experts are available for remote and onsite support.
